COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

We have always taken safety and cleanliness seriously.

Our Escape Rooms During Coronavirus

Escape Room Clearwater Beach is making changes to keep our customers and staff safe amid concerns about COVID 19.

At Escape Room Clearwater Beach we believe small group activities like the ones escape rooms provide are among the safest. This is because they minimize the size of group exposure, keeping person-to-person contact much lower than other venues such as concerts, sporting events, bars, and other larger gathering places. Because the safety and security of our guests has always been the highest priority for Escape Room Clearwater Beach and continues to guide our policies, we wanted to let you all know about several steps we have taken to make our experiences as safe as possible for our customers and staff.

Escape Room Clearwater Beach health and safety precautions

  • All rooms are private at no extra charge. You should expect to only interact with your group and our game master, and no other customers.

  • All rooms are limited to 10 people or fewer in accordance with public health orders.

  • Expanded cleaning practices, exceeding CDC Recommendations. This includes disinfecting all surfaces and puzzle elements between every game.  We will provide soap-and-water hand-washing facilities as well as hand sanitizer to all of our guests and employees.  We will continue to filter our facility’s air with MERV-11 air filters, which are recommended by the EPA for removing air particles of greatest health concern.

  • Schedule changes to limit interactions with other groups.  We have staggered room start times and will minimize time spent in our lobby.

  • Staff will wear masks and gloves for their own protection, and yours. Customers are expected to comply with Clearwater and Florida requiring masks when entering commercial or retail buildings.

  • Waiver of change fees normally charged for changes made within 48 hours of a booking. If you wish to move your booking within 48 hours of your scheduled event, you must email  escaperoomclearwaterbeach@gmail.com with your booking information, or call our office at 727-754-9752 at least one hour before your scheduled start time. Please don’t come if you are feeling sick!

  • We will be implementing these steps for the foreseeable future, and will re-evaluate our policies as necessary.
